MelloMap ("we", "our", "us") is operated by GagaHealth Technologies Private Limited, based in India. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What We Collect

• Phone number — to create your account and verify via OTP
• Child's name and date of birth — to personalize activity recommendations by age
• Activity usage — which activities you try, save, and rate, so we can improve suggestions
• Device information — device type, OS version, and push notification token (for delivering notifications)
• Analytics data — app usage patterns, session data, and crash reports to improve the app experience

How We Use Your Data

• Personalize activity recommendations for your child's age and needs
• Send reminders and helpful notifications (you can turn these off anytime)
• Process subscription payments
• Improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
• Diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described:

• Razorpay — payment processing. Your payment details (card, UPI) are handled directly by Razorpay; we never store them.
• Firebase (Google) — push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting
• Meta WhatsApp Business API — your phone number is shared to deliver OTP codes and fallback notifications

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Children's Privacy

MelloMap is a tool for parents, not for children to use directly. We collect minimal child information (name and date of birth) solely to provide age-appropriate activity recommendations. We do not collect data directly from children. Children should not use the app without parental supervision.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. We retain your data only as long as your account is active.

Your Rights

• Access — view your data anytime in the app's Settings
• Delete — you can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app's Settings. Deletion is processed within 30 days. You may also email us to request deletion.
• Opt out — disable notifications in Settings at any time
• Correction — update your child's profile or account details in Settings

Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data (including child profiles) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
